Pat & Pops

There are not 2 people (other than Blakeboy & London) that hold such a special spot in my heart as Pat & Pops.  I am so stinking grateful to have the parents I do.  They are seriously the best!! I LOVE them SO much.

Pat & Pops have always made me feel that my opinions, character, & dreams are very important.  They have always stood right behind me in whatever decisions/hobbies that I have decided to do... even if my decisions were probably not the best idea's......aka being a nanny in Connecticut.  Never questioning me, but being right by the phone when I called and wanted to come home...driving to the airport at 1:00 in the morning to hug and  get me.  The minute I saw them at the airport, I felt 100% better.  I will never forget our unforgettable Nauvoo trip, our annual Salt Lake trip's over Christmas, and our weekly get-to-together's for Sunday dinner.  They just know to always expect me, Blakeboy, and London Rose for Sunday dinner.  I love that about them.

Here are a few memories and things about my dad that I will never forget:
  • He is 100% the most positive person I know.  He is always the one to stand up for whoever is being talked about.  I LOVE that quality about him and I strive to follow his perfect example daily.
  • I have never met a more hardworking guy in my life.  When my dad thinks of something, it's done.  I like to think he passed on that great quality to me.  I consider myself a hardworker and a go-getter.  Thanks dad for teaching me through example on how to be this way.
  • He is so HANDSOME!!  His movie star look-a-like is Simon Cowell for sure.
  • I will never forget when my dad got his heart surgery and I got to stay home with him while he recuperated.  I will never forget all the walks we took together, and movies that we watched on The Lifetime Movie Network.  Oh, and let me tell you, there isn't a guy around that loves the LIfetime Movie Network channel more than my dad.
  • I love how he has coined the pharases "savvy", and "suckin".
I love my dad SO much.  He truly is the life of the party.

Here are a few memories and things about Pat that I will never forget:
  •  Pat is the most beautiful mom in the WHOLE world.
  • I love how Pat is always SO trendy and hip.
  • Pat is super technology savvy.  Just ask her how to use the iphone and she can give you the 411 on it.  She's do dang funny with her phone.
  • Pat has the awesome quality of making you feel like you are the most beautiful, talented, and smartest person alive.  I ALWAYS feel so good about myself after being with her.  There are only a handful of people that I think possess this quality, and she's at the top of that list.
  • I will NEVER forget when she kicked the neighbor dogs butt, and her toe literately went up the dogs butt hole.  I don't think I have ever laughed so hard.
  • I will never forget when she took us to go watch What Lies Beneath in the theatre.  Pat and I both had dead arms by the time that movie was over.  SO SCARY.
  • I will never forget the wonderful opportunity of working with her for a whole school year.  I was a 1st grade teacher, and she was/is the secretary.
  • I don't know a soul that is better at cooking or throwing a party than her.
I LOVE Pat so much.  Thanks for always being there for me.

Last, but not least, I will always remember when Pat & Pops came and visited me while I was living in Wyoming.  We had a blast and found the best little food place.  Who would have known that Cheyenne would have such a good restraunt.  Thank's for everything Pat & Pops.  Here is a little picture from our Cheyenne days.
