My heart broke last night.
Truly broke.
I LOVE America, and I am mourning.
I will be wearing black.
I can't seem to even find the words to express how heartbroken I feel.
I am scared.
I am scared for our country.
I am scared for London to grow up in our country.
I get sick thinking about it.
My eyes didn't leave the presidential coverage for a second yesterday.
I was so hopeful for Romney.
I feel sad.
I feel sad for Romney & Ann.
Romney would have made an awesome president.
Ann would have been a gentle & loving first lady.
It's funny how much bringing a child into this world can change a person.
I want the best for London, and future Allen babies.
I'm fearful that we will never again have a republican president.
As they said last night, republican's are not main stream.
How can we win if the majority of the world is OF the world.
No, we/I will not get on board for abortion.
And no, we/I will not get on board for gay marriage.
However, I am still PROUD to be an American.
I KNOW that God is all knowing.
The First Presidency & the Quorum of the Twelve issued this statement:
"This is now a time for Americans to come together.
We invite Americans everywhere, whatever their political persuasion, to pray for the President."
I will pray.
I will pray so very hard for our country.
I'm so scared that I have to pray.
Last night truly gave me a wakeup call.
I need to get my spiritual self at it's best.
No middle ground.
Stand strong.
Do the little things that count.
Be kind.
And pray a whole lot.
Try to make a positive out of the negative.
Helaman 5:2
"For as their laws and their governments were established by the voice of the people, and they who chose evil were more numerous than they who chose good, therefore they were ripening for destruction, for the law had become corrupted."
I have a feeling it's going to get a lot worse.
THAT is why I have to pray.
I love America.
I am proud to be an American.
I will stand tall & strong to be a good American.
I am SO grateful & blessed that I was born in this country.
I hold it dear.
We must unite together.
Stand strong for the America that we want.
I read encouraging words on facebook last night.
"Tomorrow, the sun will rise again and the world will keep turning on it's axis. There are many forces stronger than government."

You summed up all my feelings so well. I wish I was a great blogger like you and documented things like the election. Thanks for sharing this :)
