I swear I started showing the minute we found out.....
quickly followed by the constant nausea.
Let's rewind to Christmas morning.
I set my alarm & got up before London & Blake.
I grabbed the pregnancy test....& ya'll know what happens after that.
Those 3 minutes of waiting for the TWO lines to appear felt like 18 hours.
I did my own little happy victory quick jig in the bathroom &
rushed downstairs to help Santa out by putting my pregnancy test in Blake's stocking.
As we were sitting around the Christmas tree looking at what Santa brought us,
I could not wipe the smile off my face.
I seriously had to sit on my hands so I wouldn't pull the test out for him.
F I N A L L Y, he took it out.
Out of all the years of looking at Blake, this was one of the best moments.
The smile that overcame his face & the tears that pooled in his eyes.
It was perhaps the most perfect Christmas ever.
We so very badly wanted to keep it a secret from everyone until I knew what I was having...
But, in the picture below, I was 11 weeks & ALREADY SHOWING.
We did wait until 13 weeks to tell anyone though....which is a record.
I swear we told our parents the minute we found out with London.
I'm pretty much thinking we have a boy brewing.
We will know in 2 weeks & 5 days....I'm not counting down or anything.
Compared to London's pregnancy, this pregnancy has been 100% different.
I was nauseous since about week 1, & it is just now letting up.
London has been so sweet through my sickness.
She would get me a pillow & blanket & put it on the couch for me & say, "Way down."
I would lay down & then she would rub my forehead. I sure have a sweet one.
I have been SOOOOOOO tired. I usually take a nap everyday when London naps...
AND, I have been sleeping in until 10-11...which, is not my usual 7:30 A.M self.
Anyway, how could it not be a boy with how different this pregnancy is?
We will be THRILLED with either gender. I'm just anxious to find out.
So, back to the telling everyone business.
We knew we wanted to let our parents know first....obviously.
We made a book for our parents when we told them about London,
so, we wanted to do something special & creative for this pregnancy announcement as well.
We kept throwing ideas back & forth.
Nothing was sounding too interesting...plus, pinterest has taken the creativity out of everything.
We definitely didn't want to announce in any of the ways that was overloading pinterest.
My creative, hot, genius, & idea making husband thought of something that was SO perfect for us.
He had the idea of putting our announcement in with some of our favorite games.
Seriously, this guy is so creative & since we love to play games with family,
it couldn't have gone better.
We had my parents over to play ticket to ride....they were so confused when one of the cards that they flipped over said 3+1=4. Not until about two more rounds, did the light bulb flip in my mom's head & she shouted, "You guys are having a baby."
As you can probably guess, we didn't even finish the game cuz we were all SO excited.
The next day, we went over to Blake's parents & played Harry Potter clue.
This game however, had to be played until the very end
since our announcement was in the final clue cards.
Heidi (Blake's mom) has the best reactions to everything & with this, she didn't dissapoint.
She was dancing, laughing, shaking her fingers, accusing.....She's the best.

Once both sets of parents knew, we didn't hesitate (or wait long)
to text everyone the above picture to see if they could figure it out.
As ya'll can guess, we are extremely thrilled!
We are excited, scared, anxious, happy, & about every other emotion you can think of.
We can't wait to be parents of TWO kids.
I'm due September 3rd.
Perfect due date if ya ask me.
Any guesses on the gender?
