I've been dilated to a 3 & 80% effaced for the past 2 weeks...on Wednesday, we shall see if that makes it 3 weeks. My sewing machine has been used more in the last month than it has in the last 2 years. I celebrated Harry Potters birthday with a butterbeer toast + got my braces off. I cut 7.5 inches off of my hair + dusted off my paintbrushes. Along with Ashley, I snuck into the basement of Bluebird just for kicks + I have let London paint my nails/toenails a few times too many. My house almost started on fire + I went camping TWO times. Blake & I went went to the fair for the first time together + I packed my hospital bag. I put together activity packets for London to do while I nurse + London got the flu. London & I found fall leaves on our walk + Blake has been B U S Y with school.
Dr. Kirkman asked if I wanted to be induced on Wednesday. I declined...wanting my body to go into labor on it's own. However, he is going to strip my membranes Wednesday. That put me into labor with London. I can, but totally can't wait to meet our sweet new baby girl. I am SO nervous to be a mama of two. I get so worried about the littlest of things. But, at the same time, I am SO excited to be a mama of two. I can't wait to see this little girl + watch London with her. I know I will instantly fall head over heels in love with her...just as I did with London.
I've been having small contractions + cramps for the last few weeks.
Everything is ready for her to come. Room done. Clothes washed. Sewing projects done.
I can't believe I only have days or at the most 2 weeks left. It went by so quickly!
Blake is such a hard worker. He has been CRAZY busy with school. Goes to school from 8-3:30 & then comes home & studies until midnight. He is doing such a great job & I love him.
He's stressed, I'm stressed.....but, it's totally worth it. Even if I am going to pretty much be a lone ranger with two babies for the next 9 months.
Come soon my sweet baby girl.
I can hardly wait to meet you!
+ your big sis talks about you all day.
I love all of these projects! Way to go! Nothing quite like that nesting energy.
