The London Lowdown: 4 Months

 So, I have decided to add a new component to my blog...It's called The London Lowdown..each month mark for London, I will add new accomplishments/developments of my sweet London. The new component will be as if London is giving you the Lowdown.  Here it goes... :)

My mommy had to take some fun 4 month pics of me.  I think she is crazy.... she tells me that I'll appreciate it when I'm older.  Here I am at 4 months...Enjoy.

 Here are some of my new developments/marks/achievements:

-I weigh 12 lbs. 5 oz....I am in the 15% percentile for weight.

- I am 24.5 inches long... I am in the 55% percentile for height.

-I LOVE to sleep... At exactly one month of age, I decided that I wanted to sleep through the night.... I have done it ever since.  I sleep between 8.5-10 hours each night.  I take two 2.5 hour naps throughout the day and 1-2 cat naps.  My mommy always knows when I'm getting sleepy because I pretty much rub my eyes right off my face.  My mommy and daddy's favorite thing when they come to get me out of my crib in the morning is that I give them a HUGE smile....even if I'm crying, I pause my crying and give a HUGE smile.  I get so excited to see them in the morning.

-I eat 5 ounces 5 times a day.  I eat mostly breast milk/pumped breast milk....sometimes my mommy has to supplement my bottles with an ounce or two of formula because she has a hard time producing enough breast milk.  About two weeks ago, I decided I was big enough to start holding my own bottle.  My mommy almost cried when she saw me do that....she tells me I am getting too big...too fast!  I get really mad when I have to stop eating and burp.... I mean, REALLY mad.  I love my food. 

- I got to try rice cereal for the first time today.  Let's just say it was an adventurous mess.  I sure liked it though.  Here I am (left picture) before the madness began.  Here I am during the feeding (right picture).  I had the cereal all over me!!  My mommy and daddy had to squirt me off in the sink after I ate....I was THAT messy. 

-I LOVE to blow spit bubbles.  I love to blow my spit bubbles ALL day long.  It's the best.

-I LOVE to kick and thrash my arms about.  My favorite place to ride my pretend bicycle is on mommy and daddy's bed and in my swing with my fun toys.

-I have just decided that I LOVE laughing.  I pretty much laugh at everything/everyone now.

-I love to splash around and coo in the bathtub.  Tub time is one of the best times of the day!

-I already LOVE to eat everything and anything.  I love to eat my rattles.  I love to eat my hands.  I love to eat my blankets.  I love to eat my burp cloths.  I love to eat mommy and daddy's hands.  I love to eat my binky.  I love to eat my bottle.  I am just in love with eating things.

-I am incredibly nosy and observant.  I LOVE to look around and watch people.  Let's just say, I am a people watcher in training.

-Now that the weather is a bit warmer, I got to go on my very first stroller ride/walk outside.  I was bright eyed and nosy the entire time.  It was the funnest.  Here I am all bundled up in my stroller, taking a ride. 

-My daddy is a bit funny when it comes to 'poopy' diapers.  In the picture below, my dad was in the middle of burping me when I pooped.  He thought it was an awesome idea to undo my onsie and pull my pants down.  He's the best daddy....although a bit funny in his tactics sometimes.  I secretly know that he just didn't want me to get poop all over my skinny jeans...he's just looking out for me...the way daddy's should.

 -My mom had this crazy idea to make me be a headband model.  Yep, that's right, a headband model.  She decided that she would start selling headbands, binky clips, and various other baby gear on etsy.  You can check out her etsy page here.  Here I am drooling everywhere (because I blow spit bubbles all day).

As I have promised, here are some pics of our weekly date.  Our date was to make a fort and watch a movie in it while having one of our favorite treats... ORANGE JULIUS.  Here is our fun hut(left pic).  We did an awesome job..right?  Here we all are (right pic) after making our hut and before putting London to bed.  

 Here we are (left pic) with our jammies, orange julius, and redbox.  Indeed, the redbox contains the movie Breaking Dawn.  I have such a good hubby that watches all my cheesy vampire chick flicks with me.  Here Blake is(left pic) all snuggled up and ready to watch the movie.  We already LOVE our adventurous weekly dates.  I love you Blake, thanks for being such a great husband.
