Traditions are GROWING

Traditions have always been important to me.
Blake & I had a few Christmas traditions before London Rose came along.
But, this year, I wanted to start some new traditions.
London always brings out the best in us.
So, what better way to celebrate our best selves than to start some traditions of our own.
Last year we started the tradition of roasting chestnuts.
Last go-around, we roasted them in the oven.
This go-around, we roasted them on an open fire.
Next go-around, we are going to roast them on the grill.
So far, we like them in the oven the best.
Christmas Eve wouldn't be Christmas Eve unless we read the Christmas story by candlelight.
Thanks to Blake's mom & dad for starting that tradition.
It will be one we will always do & cherish.
Since everyone & their dog does the Christmas Eve pajama thing,
I wanted to think of something else that would be special for our family to do on Christmas Eve.
5 years ago, Blake & I started our own tradition of buying a new game every Christmas....
So, by combining our game tradition with some new twists,
we came up with the perfect Christmas Eve tradition.
We do a game, a Christmas book, & Hickory farms yumminess.
It's a family gift.
Not that I can control the weather,
But we played in the snow on Christmas Eve, & it was a blast.
So, if there is snow on Christmas Eve,
you can bet your bunnies we will be in it.

Of course, setting up Santa.
Happy Traditions Everyone!
