Texas summer: June

Where in the waldo did June go?
I closed my eyes. Opened them.  It's July.  What the?
My summer here in Texas is coming to a close & as always, I have bittersweet feelings about it.
I will never forget the friendships I made this summer, the experiences,  + the good memories.
But, it's SO NICE to get home & get into my normal groove of things.
5 days in Texas left for me.  Then off to Oregon for a week with my family, then HOME!

Anyway, here is a little recap of what our June in Texas was all about.

The Dialogue:
Blake wrestling with London.
"I have a pan (plan) dad."

After eating dinner.
"Penny's gettin full in ma belwey.  She's gettin biggar."

Playing with her princess figurines one day.
"You tan pway wif these (beast, flounder, raja), & I will pway wif these (all her princesses) don't touch them ok."

Blake: "You take care of mommy & Dot for me today while I work k?"
London: "mommy, i will take care of you mommy & dot ok."

"Tan you wing(swing) me dad?"

"I hold your hand mommy & dad."

Amidst our discussion of her growing up.
"You bewey is gwowing up mommy."

On our way to the grocery.
London: "Mom, tan I have a pinecone?"
Me: "Do you mean a pineapple?"
London: "No, a pinecone."
Me: it dawns, "Oh, do you mean a snowcone?"
London: "Yep, a nocone."

"Get the bugsies."
Are we in Lord of the Rings dear London?
Original writing idea for this type of post came from this blog.
