Christmas 2014

Christmas Eve is my very favorite day in December.  I love the anticipation of Christmas the next day + our traditions (opening books, games, + summer sausage) + I love the peace Christmas Eve brings.
London was SO excited to leave Santa some eggnog & cookies + we left a few christmas clippings for the reindeer.  As we were reading our Christmas story before bed, we heard Santa's sleigh bells & I held back tears as I watched London face light up with pure childhood innocence & excitement.  Seriously, such a treasure of a memory.

Running down to see what Santa brought was so much fun.
Santa set up a castle hut with his gift inside--London thought that was the coolest.
Santa left an Anna doll that had been asked for 694+ times & London's reaction to it was on point!
We spent the rest of the morning opening gifts from each other, eating candy, & playing with toys.
The Allen's were waiting for us in Cove to eat breakfast so we got ready & headed out.
London ran in so dang excited & told everyone about the sleigh bells & what Santa left her.
She was being so absolutely adorable & everyone was just dying over her.
Christmas morning breakfast at the Allen's has been such a fun tradition & the food is always divine.

After Christmas morning with the Allen's, we headed out to my folks until the evening.
I love the family time, games, laughter, & togetherness that Christmas entails.

Christmas was beyond magical this year.
