Richmond, Virginia & surprising Tori

After we went to Arlington Cemetery, we drove straight to Richmond, Virginia to surprise Tori.  Thankfully, we knew a couple people that live by Tori & so they helped us out a bit.  We put brown paper bags over our heads & knocked on her door.  When she answered we said, "The bitches are here."  Her face.  hahahah.  Then it dawned and she burst into tears.  We took our bags off & her reaction was the most genuine reaction I have ever witnessed.  She was sobbing & just kept saying, "you're here to see me?  I can't believe you guys are here to see me."  It was so cute!
This trip was just what I needed!  Seriously!  I love these girls more than they know & we have so much fun together.  We call ourselves the LTB's and we know each other on such a deep level.  We all understand each other.  We are there for each other.  We support, praise, mourn, and celebrate with one another.  We can be talking about a superficial conversation one moment & then the next second we are bawling and talking about a deep emotional conversation.  It's easy with these girls.  Being a friend to the three of them is an honor.  It truly is.  I thank Heavenly Father that they are in my life.  We had the best time ever.  When we got home from our trip, Tori sent us all a letter and put her top 10 moments of the trip & so I thought it would be fitting to share what she put since they are my favorite moments as well.
  1. Seeing the sights of Richmond together driving down Monument Avenue and taking pictures, Hollywood Cemetery, Maymont Park (the mansion and gardens), the suspension bridge and view of the James River, and those savage A1 smores cookies.
  2. Me (as in Tori) driving, Demi in the front seat, Carol squished between the two car seats, and Bug in the very back.  Packer was throwing a huge fit, screaming and crying, Remi was crying.  Carol did not know what to do.  Then I just hear Bug start laughing SO hard int he very back, her really funny ha ha ha laugh.  Carol turns to Packer while he is screaming and says, "How's your day going?"
  3. Our deathly Hallows tattoos.
  4. Finding out our Demi is pregnant.
  5. Not only being just what I needed...but I love what all three of you gave to my family.  Bug giving packer special love, "his buggy bear".  Demi always carrying Remi and being so sweet with her.  And Caroline taking the time to have a good talk with Rob and listen to what he likes to do and is interested in.  All of that did not go unnoticed to me, it meant a lot to see you three show so much love to my family."
  6. Laughing until we were crying around my kitchen table.
  7. When we danced in the parking lot and sang our theme song right before you three left,"Aint no mountain high, ain't no valley low, ain't no river wide enough baby.  If you need me call me no matter where are you, no matter how far!!!! Just call my name; I'll be there in a hurry.  You don't have to worry.  Oh baby there aint no mountain high enough, aint no valley low enough, aint no river wide enough.  To keep me from getting to you babe...."  This song is the truth! You guys came all the way to Virginia.
  8. Making our wish in the fountain at Maymont Park.  I love how we held our four pennies up in the air and threw them in the water together.  Our wish:  that we always make time for each other and that we will always be there for each other.  Best friends even when we are 80!
  9. When I opened the door and you three were standing on my porch.  Paper bags over you heads, holding hands," The bitches are here."  A moment I will NEVER forget.
  10. The talks, the laughter, the love.
