Dear beautiful, white, country, over-sized cottage, childhood home,
I will miss you dearly. I can't believe in just a short week, you will belong to someone else. Words cannot describe how sad I am that I cannot take one last look and walk through you. This will be my last piece of mail that I will ever send to you. You hold sooooo many memories for me. Here are some of my favorite memories that will forever be within your walls.
- Sharing the pink room with Melissa and Jenni. Jenni and I blistering mad at Melissa, and so we retaliated by growing a garden in her bed.
- Sluffing school with Jenni and making the pink room into our own personalized jungle gym.
- Losing a mom and gaining a mom all in the same house.
- Making the biggest rustic collection known to man.
- Starting kindergarten and finishing high school.
- Countless hours helping dad in the garden.
- Getting bucked off my first horse.
- Gaining a cat.. .Lily
- Countless hours of playing dead man and crack the egg on the tramp with Jenni and Mike.
- Learning to play the piano.
- Receiving discipline, encouragement, and love from my parents.
- Breaking curfew almost nightly.
- HUNDREDS of sleepovers with my friends...especially the twins.
- Tanning on the deck.
- Sleeping on my room floor the eve of my wedding.
- Hundreds of sunday dinners.
- First place London was taken besides our own home.
- London's blessing dinner.
- Outrageous games of volleyball.
- Last Easter when all the adults got on the tramp and played dodge ball.
I will never forget you. You hold so many good memories... and you also hold some bad memories. I LOVE your thatched looking roof and over-sized cottage appearance. I love that you were once a barn turned into a beautiful craftsmanship... thanks to my dad who knew your potential. You will forever hold my childhood memories. Take care of the new owners. We are now off to make memories at a new place. You'll always hold a place in my heart.
xoxo,
Bug, Blake, & London.
