Let Freedom Ring

I've come to a conclusion:
I have officially turned into a blubbering baby..in my old days.
I'll explain in a bit.

This is the day that Blake and I miss being home during the summer the VERY most.  Every year we are away, I can't help but think of the good ol' Lewiston celebrations.  I LOVE it so much.
But, this is the day that I also feel lucky.... I get to spend a holiday in another state.

This year for the 4th of July, London and I started out our morning by going to a parade... Here is the part where I am a blubbering baby.... As I was watching the Army guys going through the parade, I couldn't suppress my emotion as I thought about how lucky we are to live in a FREE country.  We really are.  I was even more overcome with the thought that my baby was born in a free country.  How lucky are we?  I have become so patriotic in my old days and I truly do love America.  What a great place we get to live in.

Anyway, following the parade we went to lunch with my good friend Kayde and then headed over to the mall to watch a fashion show and shop.  Blake got home earlier than usual and we were able to go out to eat at a fun local Mongolian restaurant, watch the fireworks (London Rose loved them), go firefly hunting (my newest obsession since July 3rd when I spotted my first one), light some sparklers, and we ended our night by watching Gone.  Perfect 4th of July if you ask me.

We shall see where we are next 4th of July.
Here are some pics to capture our memories.  Enjoy.
