One month birthday!

Oh, Penny pie, I can't believe it's already been a month since you came to us.

You have made our home a happier place + we have fallen head over heels in love with you.

I love the way you try to 'act big' when you're on my shoulder 

& you lift your head & look everywhere with your BIG eyes.  

Speaking of eyes, I couldn't be more proud that you have taken after me in the eye department. 

I love the way you shake your little fists when you stretch.

I especially love that you are finally taking a binky.

You have decided that getting your diaper changed isn't all that bad...

However, you have now decided, that getting your belly lotioned is pure misery.

 I love that you have recently decided to sleep from 11:30-6 at night without waking....then, 6:30-9.

It's making this sleep deprived mama finally catch up on some much needed zzzz's
& I'm crossing my fingers you stick with it.

Your skin has peeled, you had a clogged tear duct, your forehead & cheeks broke out in baby acne, 

& then, you got cradle cap. 

Thankfully, that is all news of the past & you've got your sweet baby skin back!

 I love that you already love your big sister.  

You both love to lay by each other & you love to listen to her sing & coo at you.

You are a bit high maintenance between the hours of 9-11:30 at night.  

You just want to be held, talked to, & walked around with.

You love the sound of your daddy's voice & you love when I trace your face with my fingers.

 You are perfect & we are so blessed to have you.
