Sisters

I am so excited to watch these two sisters grow up to become best friends.
I can't help but think of the bond my own sisters & I share.
They truly are my best friends.
To have 2 girls, is a dream.  I can't wait to watch the bond they share grow everyday.

Life with 2 KIDS (not kid anymore) what?!? has been a juggling act.
I have snapped at London a few times too many + the TV has probably been on a little too much.
But, I am getting the hang of it & I am slowly figuring out how to balance 2 girls & how to make each feel loved & special.  I pray everyday for the strength & courage to be a good mother to two beautiful girls.  I don't know how I am so blessed to receive two of the greatest blessings on earth.  I know Heavenly Father must love me an awful lot if he gave me the responsibility to be their mother.

"Children are NOT a distraction from more important work.  They are THE MOST important work."
I read the above quote from pinterest during the wee hours of a night feeding & it struck my heart.
Just when I feel so exhausted from a lack of sleep + feeling slightly inadequate, I read a quote that pushes me right back in my place.  This is what I am supposed to be doing & I am trying to treasure every single minute.
London has been a bit of a struggle lately.  I don't blame her, her world did just get turned upside down.  She has been SO whiny & needy.  At first, I was getting really frustrated with her....but then, I put myself in her shoes & it really helped me to become more patient & loving toward her.  Even though London has been a bit of a struggle lately, she is the sweetest big sister to Penny.  "Oh Penny, you so tute.  Oh Penny, you so little.  I love Penny mom."
"Tan I tount her pigs & fingers?  Can I kiss her?  Can I hold her? Where's Penny, mom?"

Lately, I have tried to take time each day to have one on one time with her.  I can already tell it's helping her feel more loved & secure.  One of my favorite things I did for her before Penny was born, was to make a bunch of activity packets for her to do while I would nurse Penny.  It has been such a lifesaver for me + it makes London feel SO special that she gets to do something cool every time Penny eats.  "Tan I do anactibity mom?"  I am so glad I took the time to make the packets & I strongly encourage any mom to do it.
They are similar, yet different on so many levels.
I can't wait to see what little Penny's personality will be like when she gets a bit older.
One is fair skinned & blonde hair + the other has olive skin & darker hair.
I love these two girls with my whole heart & I am so excited to be their mother.
I'm trying to treasure every moment now + I am excited to see what my/their future holds.
