October First

The month of October is like Christmas to me.  It's my most favorite month.

'October first' has become a holiday in the Allen household.

We've even got our own 'October first' traditions.

While Penny happily swang away in her swing,

London & I got busy making rice crispy pumpkins.

Marshmallows, crispies, & icing were sneakily snuck into her mouth while mom wasn't looking.

We made some Halloween tambourines & put on a parade for all the pumpkins in our house.

They sure got a show with all the shaking that went on between London & I.

London taught Penny the Itsy Bitsy Pumpkin song, 

& then we read halloween books for a solid hour. 

Love my book loving girl.

We concluded the night by watching the Nightmare Before Christmas.

Perfect day in my eyes.
