One really fun aspect of my personality that I have passed down to London is my love my holidays. Any holiday whether it be big or small. I love to create memories + traditions for us bc I love looking back on all the fun times we have together. With that being said, London picked out every single one of our outfits the night before St. Patrick's Day & hung them on our office chair so that we couldn't possibly miss putting them on the next day. The morning of St. Patrick's day, she ran into our room & told us to get up & dressed in our clothes that she had picked out.
London has this book called the St. patricks day parade & last year she assumed that it was a guide for st. patricks day....well, needless to say, we now have a yearly tradition of painting our faces green. She had me paint some four leaf clovers on her cheeks & then she set to work painting Blake & I's face....it was an abstract version of a 4 leaf clover :). Penny wouldn't let us close enough to paint her face. The girls ate their gold chocolate coins in about 2 seconds flat & then they painted some rainbows. We played, played, played, read st. patty's day books, & played some more. We ended the night by taking the girls to zootopia & that was a HUGE mistake. Scared the heck out of my little London. Poor girl. Penny was otherwise unaffected by the movie & just enjoyed eating popcorn + running up & down the theater stairs. Holidays are so fun & even more fun with these two little girls. I am one lucky mama!
