I love the magic that just comes alive this time of year. It's like an unspoken truce between the people + the world to just be a little kinder, to give a little more, to smile at strangers..... I see + feel the magic everywhere I go...but, I feel + see the magic surging through my girls most especially. It is such a JOY for me to watch their eyes light up as we read Christmas books, do Christmas activities, & learn about our Savior. London drew a bunch of pictures that she wanted to deliver to Logan shop workers everywhere. So, one day as I was running errands, she gave pictures to all the workers. Got me all teary eyed watching the light + smile that came to each workers face. I was so proud of my sweet London because she has been really working hard on being kind to everyone. This December was full of family time. We played games almost nightly, we spent a TON of time with Lynsi + Mike, we had a star wars marathon, we watched Christmas shows, I watched the cars out the window with my girls, I sat & enjoyed the December magic, & we talked about our Savior so much. One day, Penny was laughing & dancing & London yells, "Christmas is not all about you, Penny. It's about Jesus." haha, at least she understood that Christmas is about Jesus.
I love that I get to experience the magic of Christmas with Blake + my girls.
