North Dakota State fair

Perhaps my very favorite week out of the whole summer.
Minot, North Dakota sure knows how to put on an outrageous state fair.
People travel all over to come to this fair...heck, it seemed like the entire country music industry + all of their biggest stars were there.  Definitely a fair to remember with it's over the top getup & fair grounds that had no end.

We knew we would go going back with our hubbies, so, we decided to forego the rides (since they cost an arm + a leg) & just enjoyed walking around the booths, eating fair food, & chatting with each other.  But man, can I just say......North Dakota sure knows how to lassle in the crazies during the fair.  Woof!

My very favorite day out in North Dakota was this day!  We sold our souls + bank accounts to get us all wrist bands for the rides.  We didn't even have time to catch our breaths before London was dragging us onto another ride.  The giggles that came out of London was worth every penny we spent.  We took a few cotton candy breaks, had a turkey leg, ate a pound of funnel cakes, ditched Penny's helmet bc we couldn't bare to watch the sweat pour out of her helmet & into her eyes...poor baby, laughed harder than we had in a long time, ran from ride to ride, ate our weight in fair food, & listened/watched some shows that were going on.  We didn't leave until way after the girls bed times because sometimes, you just gotta do that.  Fairs are always just so enchanting & this one did NOT disappoint.
