Halloween 2015

Halloween is my very favorite day out of the whole year.  It's so fun!  London spent her birthday money on a doc mcstuffins doctor kit + pajamas & so she decided that instead of being a kitty, she wanted to be doc Mcstuffins for Halloween.  We hit up Lee's during the day because they always have such a fun setup.  Amy + David joined us for trick or treating later that night.  London was all into trick or treating this year....but, didn't like the scary masks that were being worn.  One man opened the door in a mask & she completely lost it.  She told us, "It's my first Halloween with masks."  It gave us all a good laugh.  Penny is so dang fun.  She wanted to do everything the big kids did & so she slowly walked up to the doors & held out her basket for some treats.  We hit up the retirement cul-de-sac by our house & all the residents were SO happy to have trick or treaters & just treated our girls so cute.  While Amy & I + the girls finished trick or treating, Blake & David ran back home to get the fryers ready for our annual apple fritter + root beer party.

We turned on some spooky music, got a fire going,  turned on the strobe light, & served apple fritters + root beer to all the trick or treaters.  Everyone is invited & it's a party until everything runs out.  We always make sure to special invite our family + friends.  It was so fun to just kick it & relax with good company.  We always end the night with a Halloween movie for whoever wants to stay & watch.  Another great Halloween in the Allen history.
