Blake studied for his NCLEX any down time he had for the first two weeks of us arriving in North Dakota. The testing center was in Bismarck...about 1.5 hours from Minot. The girls + I tagged along & we made a day out of it. We dropped Blake off at the testing center in Bismark & we hit up lunch at a spaced out Alien restaurant with sub par food (think Pizza Planet from Toy Story) The atmosphere was a ton of fun & London loved it. We then headed to the Mississippi river & just flew by the seat of our pants. We stopped & learned about the Lewis & Clark Expedition & walked out on a cool boat. My favorite part of the day was finding a spot along the Mississippi river & letting the girls play in the dirt & water....even if I kinda thought the guy walking his dog was gonna murder us. London enjoyed watering the dirt, running around, & sweeping the river. Miss Penny enjoyed digging her hands/feet in the sand, playing with the sand toys & snuggling + nursing with me. I enjoyed having a relaxing + sporadic fun day with my girls. I had a lovely time watching them have so much fun. Blake called to let me know he was done & he stressed about his test the entire ride home. After waiting an extremely stretched out three days, we found out Blake passed his test! I am so proud of Blake & how hard he has been working with school. He has been giving it his all & it has really paid off. Way to go, Blake! I sure love the crap out of you.
