Steve + Heidi came to visit.
The girls were so dang excited & London kept teasing gma + gpa that they got to sleep in a kid bed (they stayed in London's room + London stayed in Penny's room).
We started our adventure by heading South for 3 days!
Our final destination for the day was Homer..but, we did stop at a few fun places.
We first stopped at a waterfall + hiked around. Heidi + I had this crazy idea that we wanted the waterfall + the ocean in the same picture & so we ended up scaling the waterfall + trying to find the perfect picture....but, alas, it did not work out.
We then stopped to watch the bore tide. The bore tide is one of the strongest tides in the world & when it comes in, it's like a wall of water. The best place to watch the bore tide is at Beluga Point & that point in + of itself is a gorgeous spot to explore. We even watched a surfer try to surf the bore tide! We finally made it to Homer with two tired girls + fish taco's! The best we stayed at? Well, lets just not talk about how nasty it was.
