I remember sitting in church that first Sunday in Alaksa + experiencing this overwhelming feeling. I didn't know the specifics then of how much Alaska would bless my life, I just knew I was right where I needed to be.
One of the many things that living in Alaska has taught me is to S L O W the heck down + really enjoy the simple things in life. The smile on my little Penny's face when I filled the sink up with water + bubbles brought the biggest smile to my face. It's been refreshing to just allow the simple life to fulfill me. I have had no obligations this summer & it's been the best thing ever. I can stay home all day if I want or go out when I want. It's given me just what I needed to relax & slow down + realize that I don't always have to have something planned to fill up my day. I'm so grateful for my two sweet babies because they are my biggest example's of all the important things in life. I love them so fiercely & I am so blessed to have those two sweet girls to keep me in check. They have blessed my life more than I have words to say.
