It was a downpour outside, but, we were bored + wanted to get out.
I'd passed the trail head for Raspberry trail a handful of times + really wanted to try it out. The first highlight of the hike was seeing a MASSIVE bull moose. It had it's full rack of antlers even. It was so nice to get out that we didn't care that we were sopping wet or that our shoes were covered in mud. We picked + ate a ton of Salmon berries along the hike. London is always on the lookout for blueberry + salmon berry bushes & so she was loving all the opportunities to pick them. Penny is always such a good sport + just loves riding on my back & chit chatting with me about all the things she sees. I love it! When we got done with the hike, we went to the spot to see if the bull moose was still there. It was + it heard us & jumped up. We were so scared that it was gonna charge that we ran all the way back to our car...and let me tell you, London can run FAST.
